We were in the mood for some spicy food and the restaurants we had been to in the past just did not cut it. We decided to give this place a try and we were happy. We arrived and the place was not too busy (not sure why because the food was delicious and the owner who is also the cook was very polite and made a few recommendations for us. The place is quiet and spacious and they have some wooden bench seating area they transport you to Shanghai :) We ordered the following dishes: 1. Spicy Szechuan crab with fry chilies 2. Fish soup with ear mushrooms in a creamy broth 3. Thinly sliced spicy beef (appetizer) 4. Water spinach in a garlic sauce 5. Steamed river shrimp with vermicelli noodles 6. Pan fried dumplings (made in house) mouthwatering. White rice on the side. To top it off the owner came out to check on us and delivered the dishes herself and explained the ingredients which I thought was a nice touch. We will definitely e coming back to this place and bring our friends over

The service was absolutely amazing and the food was so delicious! The food was plentiful at a great price. We got fried rice, steamed dumplings, and sweet and sour chicken. The woman who served us was extremely kind and tentative, showing us the proper way to eat the food and making sure everything was going well. I hope to stop by again!

Came here on a rainy day at a bit of an odd time between lunch and dinner. I don't think they were expecting customers since no one was there when we came in and it took a few min to find someone. Once we did find someone, they were very nice and helped us right away. We ordered the spicy fried chicken (辣子鸡), Singapore noodles, green beans and eggplant, and boiled fish with spicy sauce (水煎鱼片). We opted for the bone in chicken with medium spice level. The meat had a little extra taste of chilies so I think it must have been marinated with them. Despite the abundance of chilies on the plate, it wasn't overly spicy just extra tasty (I'm sure they could make it spicier if you wanted). The Singapore noodles had ham and shrimp with the bean vermicelli. Tender shrimp, al dente skinny noodles. The fish was probably my favorite dish. Quite spicy (even at 'mild' spice level) but really flavorful. It came with a good amount of fish with Napa cabbage and broccoli. Perfect with rice. The green beans and eggplant were also good and nicely cooked. Tender but not mushy. Everything came out hot and tasted fresh. Oh and they served chrysanthemum tea instead of the usual jasmine. Nice touch. It probably helps if you speak a little mandarin, but the owner was really nice and everything tasted great. I'm coming back.
